IMPORTANT NOTICE: Updated Web Site Available
All information about Meet The Needs and Bread of Life is now available at
the Ship Outreach & Community Center web site.
See that new site for contact information or to make donations.
Typically on the second Saturday of each month, MTN and SoZ host a free Community Day
in the historic South Park area of southeast Raleigh.
During these days, lunch is served, groceries are provided to those in need,
and there are activities for kids.
There is room set aside for for counseling, fellowship,
and prayer for healing and deliverance.
Usually a free health screening clinic is part of the outreach.
The clients vary in age and walks of life, and we've been able to meet,
counsel and pray with elderly grandmothers, teen gang members, and young women who have
been abused by life on the streets.
The volunteers involved in MTN endeavor to model the true Church of Jesus Christ by being
willing servants, united in love, without distinction for denomination, race, or station in life.
MTN is the Body of Christ reaching out in love to our community
with the Good News of new life available through Jesus Christ.
Bread of Life
MTN is closely partnered with Bread of Life, a Raleigh-based ministry that has provided most of
the groceries we have distributed over the years. Bread of Life has need of volunteers and
funding. Click here to learn more about Bread of Life.
